Marissa's love for sport psychology comes from seeing countless athletes give up, overthink, or "get in their head" too much while playing sports. Once she learned that there were skills you could use to help "get out of your head" while playing your sport, she was all in.
While at the University of Florida, Marissa worked with the UF Women’s Soccer team and the UF Dance major students, helping with research and providing sport psychology training to boost teamwork and confidence.
Since graduating, Marissa has worked with high school, college, and professional athletes in many sports, training for state and national championships, the NFL combine, and Olympics. She has also trained U.S. Army Aviation Soldiers by helping prepare them for Flight School and combat missions by providing the same mental skills that professional athletes use in their sport every day.
